Voting Rights: Protecting Our Democracy

Harvard Alumni for Black Advancement will host a virtual panel entitled, "Voting Rights: Protecting Our Democracy" on Tuesday, June 29th from 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM EST. 


The conversation, moderated by theGrio Vice President of Digital Content and a CNN Political Analyst Natasha Alford AB '08, will discuss recent voter restriction legislation and what is at stake by limiting voting rights access. 

Panelists include community organizer and New Georgia Project CEO Nsé Ufot, Brennan Center for Justice Voting Rights & Elections Director Myrna Pérez MPP '98, When We All Vote Executive Director Stephanie Young, and Harvard Kennedy School Professor and Director of The William Monroe Trotter Collaborative for Social Justice Cornell William Brooks. Panelist bios are available here.
